REdbud Writing Project

In May 2019, Emily co-founded the Redbud Writing Project, an adult education creative writing organization based in Raleigh, North Carolina. The purpose of Redbud is to provide high-quality, rigorous, MFA-level education to students who can’t or don’t want to pursue writing at the university level. Since its inception, Redbud has run dozens of classes for hundreds of students.
